Thermal base layer!
Warm socks/shoe covers, nothing worse than frozen toes.
LS Jersey with some sort of wind blocking ability.
Has to be the vest. It is my most used winter gear.
Wind vest
definitely the base layer.
beard
My bike!
DeFeet wool base layer!
Cannondale armwarmers from TBR.

Oh yeah! Working on mine right now. Thanks for commenting.
Does embrocation count? If not I've gotta go with my LS base layer.
Don't leave home without it! Thanks for commenting.
Gotta keep the guns warm! Thanks for commenting.
Rain jacket
Embro counts! Thanks for commenting.
Yes! Hopefully we won't need it so much this winter! Thanks for commenting.
Cycling jacket with the rear pockets. Keeps the wind out and arms warm.
Warm shoe covers
All the above..... But being warm blooded helps more than anything!
Ski Gloves. I have sensitive hands, like a lady.
Gotta keep the toes warm! Thanks for commenting.
Pockets are key, gotta have places to store stuff! Thanks for commenting.
Vest all the way baby - Nothing is more Euro
I hear that! The guys say I have polar bear blood! Thanks for commenting.
Nice! I always thought that about you. Thanks for commenting.
We love Euro! Thanks for commenting.
Polar Bear Suit - keeps you warm year round.
Indeed! Hard to shed come spring though! Thanks for commenting.
Ears cold = miserable ride. Got to go with ear warmers.
Ear warmers! Nice one. Thanks for the comment.
Base layers, for sure.
Stay warm! Thanks for commenting.
Next best thing to using shoe covers is having a solid wool sock.
Yes sir! Wool is for winter. Thanks for commenting.
Giordana leg warmers. Keeps the legs warm, but you don't overheat as you can with insulated bib knickers. Of course you can't forget the Smartwool skull cap...lightweight, but regulates the temp just right.
Arm warmers. Gotta have something to cover up these garter snakes that I call arms.
My Hincapie Arenberg zero jacket.
Yes! It's always a balancing act. Gotta keep the noggin warm! Thanks for the comment.
The guns! Keep'em warm. Thanks for the comment.
I've heard the Hincapie stuff is top notch. Thanks for the comment!
I'm going to purchase one this week!
Thought it would be the base layer starting, shoe covers are it for me.
Rock the covers & keep the little piggies warm! Thanks for the comment.
A cup of tea in my living room. That's my favorite winter riding accessory.
Antioxidants! Thanks for the comment.
Just like free beer and lunch, free clothing would be a nice upgrade. Baselayers, arm warmers, leg warmers, shoe covers, skull cap, sunglasses, hot cocoa, merino wool socks, gloves, jacket. Below 40 degrees, stay home, turn the heater on and watch a cycling movie.
LOL G, that was good stuff. You must be from some place warm like Columbia. Thanks for the comment.
Arm/leg/knee warmers - lots of versatility. But gotta have good shoe covers, too. I HATE having cold/wet feet!
No doubt! Cold wet feet are the pits. Thanks for commenting.
A silk balaclava.
Wool socks
Gloves, hands are always the one getting cold.
Whoa silk! Now that's a first. Thanks for the comment.
Keep the dogs warm! Thanks for the comment.
Yes! Gotta keep'em warm. Thanks for the comment.
Hottest Embro you can find, wool beanie, wool socks.
Embro! Euro style. Thanks for the comment.
I'm going with Balaclava. Keeping my face warm and neck is critical. Plus I like how it doubles to hide my identity if I need to knock off a bank on my way home from the rides in Fay.
Knee warmers. Keeps the tendinitis at bay.
Ha! Good one. I thought you were going to say Chapstick. Thanks for the comment.
Yes! That's my bottom bracket creaking. Not my knees. Keep them covered. Thanks for the comment.
My skull cap - easy to remove & lots o' warmth!
One of the most important things to keep warm. Thanks for the comment.
All I need is my thick yankee blood and the love of this sport to keep me warm!
I do seem to recall some red finger tips a couple Saturdays back! Thanks for the comment.
Got to have gloves and a beanie to cap off those heat exit points.
No doubt! Thanks for commenting.
Ear protection...cold ears equals cold body!
Gotta keep the ears warm! Thanks for the comment.
foot warmer thingies in the shoes. always in my shoes below 40F!
Keep those dogs warm! Thanks for the comment.
Full Finger gloves! In my opinion, it's crucial that you can feel your shifters and brakes :)
Great point! Thanks for the comment.
Thermal wind proof jacket is a must when the commute turns into single digits.
Thermal & wind proof! Toasty. Thanks for the comment.
friends that keep me motivated to get out in the cold
Now we are talking! Accountability. Good one. Thanks for the comment.
does commitment to go out and ride when mother nature is gnarly count? kind of takes the full ensemble: your rides only as comfortable as your weakest link. getting overheated then cold sweat is the worst, so i say a good moisture&wind proof jacket. right gloves and covers to save the toes are tied for a close second
A fanny pack. Not only does it look sweet, but you can keep all of your stuff in it. It's a win win really.
Absolutely! State of mind counts. Thanks for the comment.
Errr...ahhh...fanny pack counts. Thanks for the comment.
I'm a new rider and so far my arm warmers are my favorite.
Welcome John! Keep the guns warm. Thanks for the comment.
Nice! Old hunting trick. Nothing like warming the belly on a cold day! Thanks for the comment.
